Job Description:

This role will form an important part of our growing team of NGL brokers. Daily tasks include providing up to the minute market information to a wide range of industry participants via voice, text and electronic communication methods. Regular meetings with clients and a willingness to develop an understanding of the market and anticipate its developments is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in sales with a dedication to customer service and innovation. Key attributes include:

Self-starter with a proven track record of business development. Ability to add value for the customer and grow sales as a result is the key to success in this role.

Ability to initiate and close sales by adding new customers and growing sales with existing ones.

Driven to advance professionally and to share knowledge with teams.

Knowledge of the Canadian NGL market including trade cycles, grades and pipeline networks.

Knowledge of commodity markets and trading is beneficial.

Skilled in the application of communications technology; this role requires the advanced use of a variety of communications applications.

Broker’s office hours are based on US and Canadian market opening times. Ability to meet these hours and flexibility to work the hours the job requires are essential.
